It is important that you read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making use of or booking any of our services
You should understand that by making a booking with us you agree to these Terms & Conditions along with the Privacy Statement and you agree to be bound by these documents

Booking Terms & Conditions
We would suggest that you print a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference. Morocco Memories is a travel company based in the UK and providing tours, activities etc. in Morocco. moroccomemories.co.uk is the official website for this company.
A. The Contract
Your contract is with Morocco Memories, and is herein after referred to as “the Company”, “We” or “Us”. “You”, the client, are subject to the terms and conditions herein.
B. Acceptance by the Company
The company reserves the right to refuse any bookings from any prospective clients that in the company’s opinion they may deem to be unsuitable. The company does not need to provide any prospective clients the reason for its refusal.
C. Booking procedure
Tours, Sahara & Treks, Things to do or Marrakech Marathon event
- To enable a booking to be secured, you are required to complete the online booking along with the appropriate payment for the services outlined on the website to be provided. The total cost of any tour, sahara or trek along with any 'things to do' should be paid at the time of booking online. By making the booking online you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms & Conditions contained in this document;
- We have set up accounts with PayPal and Stripe to protect your transactions with us. On receipt of your payment by PayPal or Stripe you will normally receive confirmation of your booking within 48 hours. From this point, you should note that a Contract exists between you and us;
- If you wish make a booking whereby you pay in another currency e.g. Euros or Dollars via Stripe or Paypal you will be responsible for any ancillary costs for this transaction e.g. exchange rates or exchange admin fees. If you wish to make a booking directly to us in another currency you should should contact us before making any booking;
- If you are in Morocco, you will also be able to book our services using our website and booking online. Please ensure that you give us sufficient time to organise the services for you. If payment is not made according to these aforementioned conditions, then the srevices will be treated as uncompleted and therefore cancelled;
- Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until payment is received via PayPal or Stripe. You will also have to provide relevant personal details to us to confirm the booking e.g. email address, date of booking, type of booking etc. along with other relevant information such as the name and address of your hotel or Riad in Morocco. If you do not supply the correct information, your booking may be delayed;
- It should also be noted that we also reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is declined.
Private holidays, accommodation, corporate or group bookings or training camp
- If you have a group that requires a group booking you can contact us by the contact form or by email to make a group booking for the services to be provided;
- If you contact us to arrange a private holiday, accommodation , corporate event, group running event or training camp for a booking you can contact us by the contact form or by email to make the booking for the services to be provide;
- You will be provide with a detailed quotation of the services to be provided along with the cost. No services will be guaranteed until you agree the booking;
- To enable a booking to be secured for Private Holiday, Accommodation etc., the company requires an email from you confirming the services to be provided. In addition, a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the booking is also required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Potential services can discussed on the telephone, via the internet or by email. We will provide you will full details of the services and costs to be provided to you. To confirm the booking you will need to confirm in writing and also note that it is on the understanding that you, as the client, by confirming the booking in writing you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions;
- We have set up an account with PayPal and Stripe to protect your transactions with us. Alternatively, monies can be paid directly into the Company's bank account(details will be provided at time of booking). On receipt of your payment by PayPal/Stripe or directly to the bank account, you will normally receive confirmation invoice with 48 hours. If you have paid directly into the Company's bank account we will confirm receipt of the payment made by you. From this point, you should understand that a Contract exists between you and us and that the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The final balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the tour or holiday;
- For services other than detailed in this section, you should use this website online booking system.
D. Final payment of monies due for booking of Private holidays, Accommodation, Corporate events or group bookings or Training camp
With regards to your booking for the services as outlined, the final balance is due 60 days before the start of the service, tour or holiday. If payment is not made according to these aforementioned conditions, then the services will be treated as cancelled and you will therefore be subject to the cancellations conditions as determined in Section I and J.
E. Flight arrangements to be made by you
Currently, we do not arrange flights to Morocco. Therefore, your flight arrangements will be made independently by you.
If your flight is cancelled or delayed we cannot accept any liability for this part of your trip. We only accept liability for the elements of the trip or holiday that we have contracted to supply with you. If you have arranged airport transfers with us from Marrakech as part of your trip or contracted us to provide airport transfers then you will have to supply full flight details to us e.g. arrival flight number, date and time, along with departure flight number, date and time.
F. Passport, documentation and personal property
It is your responsibility to check that your passport is up to date and to ensure that you carry the correct documentation (passport, visa etc.) at all times. It is also your sole responsibility to look after your personal property during all the services provided by us. We accept no responsibility or any contingent liability for them from theft or loss from any accommodation arranged by either you or us or from theft from transport provided as part of your tour or holiday or services with us.
G. Our tours, sahara & treks and things to do
Our tours, sahara & treks and 'things to do' are as listed on our website and those agreed as part of your itinerary that is booked and paid for in the UK or arranged with us during your stay in Morocco. If you deal with other local organisers or guides for any of these services not included in your itinerary with us, please note that we will have no liability for the services. Your contract for these services will be with the persons or company you have contracted to provide these services and not with us.
H. Private holidays and Accommodation,Corporate events or group bookings or Training camp
The above services booked by you with us will be detailed in our official email to you. This will confirm the services and cost to you by email. The deposit and final payment for this booking must be made in line with these Terms & Conditions in Sections C & D. If you arrange other services with other local organisers or guides for any tours or activities etc. not included in your itinerary with us, please note that we will have no liability for these services. Your contract for any other services will be with the persons or company you have contracted to provide these services and not with us.
I. Cancellations, amendments or alteration made by you
Amendments or alterations made by you
If you wish to make any amendments or alterations to your booking for any of the services agreed and paid, we will try to accommodate and adjust the booking accordingly with the relevant provider. However, we cannot guarantee that any changes you request will be fulfilled. If it is possible to make changes we may need to charge you for any additional costs that are incurred in addition to the original costs for the original booking, as we may incur charges for any changes to amend or alter the booking.
Furthermore, any changes to be made within 48 hours of the agreed service or tour may be treated as a cancellation as we ourselves may be subject to cancellation charges with pre-arranged tourist services.
Cancellations made by you
If you wish to cancel your entire trip or part of your trip, we must receive written confirmation from you. This must be done by email as this provides confirmation and proof of the cancellation. We will acknowledge receipt of your email. Our confirmation emails should be retained by you as proof of cancellation. Cancellations by you are subject to the following charges.
- Tours, Sahara & Treks and Things to do booked through the website
- Cancellation notification must be received by us in writing at least 48 hours before 8:00 am on the morning of your tour to receive a full refund. Cancellations received with less than 48 hours notification in writing will not be eligible for a refund
- Private holidays, Accommodation, Corporate events, Group events or Training Camp, a deposit of 20% as mentioned in Section C is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you have paid the balance of the services before the deadline of 60 days before the date services begin then the following cancellation terms are as follows:
60 days to 30 days: FULL REFUND, less 20% deposit paid
29 days to 15 days: REFUND of 50% of the monies paid by you
14 days or less: NO REFUND IS DUE
J. Cancellations, amendments or alteration made by the Company
We reserve the right to cancel any of services if the published minimum size of the group as stipulated in the website is not reached, particularly where this a tour, sahara&treks and 'things to do'. In this event, we will try to discuss your options with you. If you have paid the full price of the services , we will try to arrange a partial refund for you. However, it should be noted that this will not be a full refund as we ourselves may be subject to cancellation charges with the pre-arranged tourist services in respect of the original booking. If you have paid the deposit for the services or tours to be provided, then as per Section C above this deposit will be non-refundable and non-transferrable. We accept no liability for any compensation beyond any agreed refund.
K. Force majeure
It may be necessary for us to be forced to cancel your services or tours for reason(s) beyond our control as a result of “force majeure”.
We cannot accept any liability or pay any compensation where it is not possible to meet our agreed contractual obligations or you suffer any loss or damage as a result. As per these terms and conditions force majeure means circumstances or events that we or our providers could not anticipate or potentially avoid, such as:
- Threat of war, actual war, insurrection, civil action, terrorist actions, decisions by governments or governing authority, riots, strikes, bad weather, natural disaster, natural or nuclear activity, technical or maintenance problems with transport contracted, changes to schedules or operation decisions of air carriers selected by you, industrial action, epidemics or pandemics, adverse weather conditions, fire or any similar circumstances that are beyond our control.
L. Prices
The information and prices shown on our website, and/or any quotations provided to you may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the website and/or quotations issued to you. Unfortunately, errors sometimes occur. Therefore, please ensure that you check all the details including the price provided of your trip at the time of your booking with us.
M. Surcharges
We will not vary the price of the services or tours agreed with you less than 15 days before your departure date.
If, however, the price could vary due to a result of government action, increase fuel costs for transport, exchange rate fluctuation, we agree to absorb up to a maximum of 2.5% of your confirmed and invoiced holiday cost. If there is a surcharge of greater than 12% due to price variation you have the right to cancel your holiday and receive a full refund.
N. Insurance cover
It is a condition of the booking and strongly recommended that you are adequately insured against personal accident, injury and any medical expenses incurred. You should ensure that your insurance covers you for any activity you wish to undertake whilst in Morocco. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are adequately covered for any activities, services or tours that you have arranged with us (e.g. hiring of quad bikes, camel riding, paragliding).
We do not offer or arrange any insurance cover as part of our services or tours. We do not require a copy of your insurance policy and do make not any judgement or comments as to the suitability of any insurance cover selected by you (and, if applicable, your group). By booking the services or tours with us, we will assume that you will have arranged adequate insurance cover for your trip.
O. Your responsibilities
Once your booking has been made on our website or as a booking directly with us and accepted by us, you understand and accept the following:
- The risks and hazards of services or tours that you have arranged. Particularly, the risks and hazards associated with remote trekking, quad bikes or any other types of activities etc. arranged with us;
- The possibility of delays and amendments that need to be made due to factors beyond our control and even if this may cause you inconvenience, discomfort or concern;
- Whilst on a tour, sahara&trek and 'things to do', you accept the instructions and authority of the guide/leader. This is particularly important on the sahara & trekking tours as well as 'things to do'. If your behaviour is detrimental to the safety or welfare of you and/or your group then it may be necessary to cancel the whole tour. It is important that you endeavour to be flexible in tours of this nature;
- The daily agenda or objective of the tour, as published on the website, or as agreed with you, is taken as an aim and is not a contractual obligation;
- You agree that it is a fundamental condition of the services or tours that you accept the need to be reasonably flexible, and you acknowledge that delays, alterations or cancellation may be required and understand that their subsequent effects may possibly lead to your inconvenience, discomfort or disappointment;
- Your service or tour does not commence until the appointed time and designated meeting point as agreed with you. If you fail to arrive at the appointed time and designated meeting point for whatever reason, we will not be responsible you thereafter.
P. Complaints
If you have any complaints about any aspect of your trip, please inform us immediately. You will be provided with telephone numbers (both in the UK and the Morocco). Our contact details are also shown on our website.
Most problems can usually be dealt with on the spot. It is important to note that if you failed to report a problem or issue that could have been resolved at the time, we cannot accept any liability in respect of that complaint or issue.
You can contact us in the UK or Morocco on our 24-hour emergency numbers. . Our contact details are also shown on our website, including our WhatsApp number.
If, however, an acceptable solution cannot be found, then you will have the opportunity to write to us within 30 days of your return. You must provide us with full details of your complaint or issue. Please note that if you do not follow the above complaints procedure then your right to claim possible compensation may be affected or potentially lost as a result.
- When using this website, you formally agree to all of the following:
- You must be 18 years of age or over and have the legal capacity and ability to make any bookings;
- You confirm that that all the information you provide about yourself and any other people for whom you are acting is true and accurate;
- You agree that you will not modify or adjust in any way the content of this website. You can take copies of the information contained in the website for your own personal use or for acting on behalf of others in your group;
- This website is intended for members of the public who wish to make travel bookings with Morocco Memories, which is a company based in the UK;
- We suggest that you print a copy of the Booking Terms & Conditions when making the booking. Our Booking Terms & Conditions contain information regarding details of the booking, including cancellation and amendment charges that may be payable if a booking is cancelled or amended after it has been confirmed by you;
- We, as Morocco Memories, reserve the right to make any changes to this website as required at any time without notice to those using this website. If you continue to use the website following any changes to the website conditions this will constitute you accept any such changes;
- The information and prices contained in this website apply to users who are primarily making a booking from the UK. It is possible for individuals not within the UK to make a booking, however, the prices are quoted in Sterling. Therefore, if you wish to pay in another currency e.g. Euros or Dollars and make a booking you should contact us before making your booking;
- It should be noted that the information and prices on this website are updated from time to time as required. We do make every effort to ensure that the information and prices are accurate. However, sometimes errors do occur. If a price is obviously incorrect due to a system error, we shall not be bound by this price;
- We also reserve the right to deny access to this website at any time without notice.
- We do not accept any liability in respect of you being unable to access this website at any time or for any interruptions in that access or use, or indeed for any failure to complete any transaction. We also do not warrant that this website is free from computer viruses, or any other properties or applications that may cause loss or damage;
- We would advise that no promises, warranties, representations of any kind, either express or implied, are given by Morocco Memories as to the accuracy of any of the information contained with this website as to the suitability, standard or otherwise of any of the services offered directly by us or on our behalf. It should be noted that we will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether directly or indirectly) that may arise from the use of the information or material contained within this website. This also includes the access to any material via web links on the website or any inability for you to access this website;
- Where we consider that it may be useful to provide you with links to other company websites or government offices, we state that we are not endorsing either their products or services. If you decide to use any of these links you do so entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any of the content, the use or availability of these websites.
