We took a trip with Morocco Memories to coincide with the Marrakech Marathon. We were collected at the airport and driven to our hotel. Rachid and Eileen took the time to speak to all of the group, getting to know them and what they wanted from the trip.
Rachid and Eileen are both such warm, friendly and welcoming people. They are fabulous hosts and guides – nothing was too much trouble for them. They planned incredible excursions and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars. Even when snow meant we couldn’t go on the planned overnight trip to the Sahara, Rachid was quick to call round his contacts and offered the group with a few alternative trips to choose from. Although we were disappointed not to spend a night in a traditional camp as planned, the activities Rachid and Eileen put in place and the traditional Riad they chose meant that we had a fantastic time in some fantastic places that we would otherwise not have seen.
We will definitely return to fabulous Marrakech, and will definitely use Morocco Memories again to make sure we have a true Moroccan experience

From the minute we were met at the airport until we were dropped off for our return flight nothing was too much trouble. We spent a couple of nights in Marrakech taking in the sights and sounds of this fabulous city. We opted to go on the city tour as part of our package and this was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and we visited many of the cities key attractions before having lunch in Jemaa el-Fnaa square. This was a great introduction to the city which gave us our bearings allowing us to explore at leisure over the weekend. The highlight of our trip was a trip out to the Sahara to spend the night in a traditional camp. Unfortunately, we were unable to get there due to heavy snow while en route (it was the end of January when we visited). Rachid quickly came up with various other options for our group to choose from. So we swapped the desert for Imlil in the Atlas Mountains staying in a traditional riad. We were welcomed with an amazing lunch, followed by tea (we drank a lot of tea) before a hike in the fresh mountain air. On returning to the riad we were served a superb dinner in front of open fires. The breakfast in the morning was fantatsic with some of the best bread I have eaten. The next day we went quad biking in the morning and then camel trekking in the afternoon before returning to Marrakech in the evening. For our last evening in Marrakech we decided to go out for dinner and were given several recommendations close to the hotel. We were not disappointed – enjoying a modern twist on traditional Moroccan cooking. All in all, we had a fabulous 5 days organised by Morocco Memories. We hope to return in the near future (perhaps in the spring or autumn) and will definitely be using the services of Morocco Memories again.

I have had the pleasure of taking part in two trips with Morocco Memories. In fact, it would have been three had my passport not been stuck in an embassy last year thus leaving me unable to travel even though I was booked to go.
Both times I have thoroughly enjoyed the services provided by Morocco Memories, the great attention to detail and was impressed by the emphasis placed on the needs of the travellers.
I recommend the services of Eileen and Rachid. They are wholehearted and authentic people who place a great deal of importance on ensuring the traveller is satisfied and comfortable at all times. It is old school hospitality fused with a modern touch.
In this regard I have no hesitation in travelling with them again in the future.
